How to be a Reasonable vegan

Slides and resources for the workshop given by Rebecca Fox at VegFest Brighton 2017

We think it’s important for vegans to be reasonable because a community of strong, humble, flexible thinkers are the greatest force for good any movement could ask for. But we acknowledge as passionate animal advocates it’s not always easy to keep a clear head.

That’s why we’re passionate about developing critical thinking skills to help us understand the world—and ourselves—using the tools of reason and evidence. This workshop was a brief primer on how to be reasonable, the limits of our brains, and how to have conversations with people about important things. For clarity, the slides below have been slightly modified from the ones used in the live presentation.
